I don’t know how many more lies we’ve been fed with but I’m sure you have a damn good reason to why you insist on building a crooked bridge (which is so often mocked by the Singapore media by the way, in case you want to know) and the reasons you have given seem reasonable.
But yes, if the crooked bridge comes to fruition, Singapore will be bypassed as a port as it will save many ships hours of sailing time and that is not something that Singapore wants. We need this harbor business for our economic growth.
But Singaporeans have failed to see, that for the sake of economic growth (which benefits who, really? Not me or my neighbors but the pencil-pushing beureucrats and directors of government-linked agencies) many other aspects of our lives have been compromised. We Singaporeans have evolved to become selfish people whose main concern is money and material assets.
Humans think with their brains
Robots just follow instructions - what if the instruction arn’t true?
No longer today that if we follow the instructions of the PAP and receive and output of 1+1=2
When we drive a car and knock down someone, we don’t care about the person being knocked down. We care more about the damage that is done to our cars. This is not the type of character I see in Malaysians. I have many great experience with Malaysian motorists and I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Malaysian’s graciousness.
This is so true, few years ago I had an accident…the first thing comes to my mom was
“Oh shit, how much will this cost to repair my bike”
Oh crap…!
Thank god now I’m seeing some lights
